That article is a load of bollox.

I have many sites in insurance and legal fields and the legal keywords are a country mile more expensive.

Small example:
Car Insurance (app CPC £5.61)
Personal Injury (app CPC £37.29)

I'm working on legal keywords with £50+ CPC ($80+) so again this data is way off.

For one keyword that was related to insurance one company was paying over $100 per click, which is AMAZING.

Whatever happened to mesothelioma?

For the longest time I couldn't figure out why that keyword is worth so much. After a bit of research, I learned it's a type of tumor you can get from working around asbestos. Lots of people may be exposed to asbestos tiles inadvertently, because ceiling tiles predating the 1980s often had asbestos in them. You need a professional service costing thousands to get them off the walls safely. If you take them down yourself, you could get sick. Oops!

All this means mesothelioma must be a lucrative keyword for greedy, ambulance-chasing lawyers.

meso is constantly above $80, no matter what QS u get. Its like a min bid. If you get 1 guy, literally 1 guy claim the settlement from the lawsuit, you are done. I heard its like $XXXX-$XXXXX per claim.

mesothelioma is the king of highest paying keywords

also, those are "keyword categories", not the highest paying keywords. and info graphics are retarded more than half the time.
