Cliffs at bottom...

Just tossing around ideas to get that money, hoping for some input from the folks here…

I don’t know if anyone here has heard of a Protein Sparing Modified Fast. If not, check it out… (Not an affiliate link)

The Rapid Fat Loss Handbook by Lyle McDonald | BodyRecomposition - The Home of Lyle McDonald

Now, I have done this in the past and it works really well. I am going to be doing 1 more round of it (12 days) and maybe a second round if I feel like it.

Based on my past experience, it will generate around 6lbs of real fat loss. (Depending if I deplete or not, I could attain nearly 15lbs of “total” weight loss, which would be water, but it still sounds better)

(BTW, I am 6’ ~175lbs)

Obviously, nobody cares about this.

But, here’s what I am considering doing…

This time around, I am going to be taking progress photos every day (front/side/back – with a ghetto camera no less so people know it’s real) and writing a daily journal entry. This will include what I ate, any exercise I did, and just random thoughts on how I feel the diet is going, etc…

After the 12 days, I will be compiling all of this into a .PDF file, formatting it nicely, making it look all professional (somewhat) etc…

Now, here’s where you can make money…

I can write in your specific diet based affiliate programs to make it seem as though I used them in my diet.

So, for example, when I lay out the original plan at the beginning of the report, I can say that green tea extract is a necessary component, that a colon cleanse starts the weight loss program off right, etc.

Then, in the daily “journal” entries, I could say stuff like “Man, (insert your diet supplement here) really makes this diet work” or “I would die without (insert your diet supplement here)” etc

Then for good measure, in the conclusion, I can throw in more promotion saying that “(Insert diet supplement here) was the key ingredient to my success, here’s how you can get it, etc)

So, in the end, you would have a report that shows actual weight loss progress that is promoting your diet/fitness affiliate program.

You could use this information however you like…

- you could make a squeeze page, collect emails, and hook it up to an autoresponder (hire me to write the autoresponder email series ☺)

- you could post it up as a blog

I am thinking about trying to sell 3-5 copies of this report (The photos will be the same, but the text will all be modified to fit your specific specs)

So, the questions…
1. Would anyone be interested in something like this?
2. How much would you pay for something like this? (The rights to the report/photos/customization of text, etc)

Cliffs:
- Going on diet – 12 days/6lbs lost
- Documenting experience, compiling report
- Willing to customize report to promote any diet affiliate programs you want to promote – great for squeeze page/email collection or blog
- Would you pay for this? What would you pay?

Just give it a go. There's tons of stuff in r/keto you can use to add value to your journal/ebook. The more value you give, the more trust you build.

My .02 cents

People have already tried very similar things, so you'd have to find a way to differentiate yourself.Cheap-looking "real" photos are good, also check out on Youtube all the peeps that have uploaded grainy videos of themselves doing workouts like P90X and Crossfit, those are pretty powerful testimonials, better than just a single group of static pics in a PDF

Don't even mention "I used XYZ supplement/plan" till at least about halfway through, once people are already hooked and less likely to have their guard up about sales pitches. You can say " I was starting to see some good results by Day X, but I wanted more/faster, a friend recommended XYZ product, yada yada". Hard-sell too early, and it looks obviously like a sales pitch and you won't get any traction.

Also, on any diet/workout program, the day to day changes don't look like much difference in pics. Might be better to work out extremely hard every day, but take your pics several days apart, and label them Day 1, day 2, etc so the results look more dramatic.

Hope that helps.

Why not just take the products?

Isn't everyone more concerned that they can document the testimonial in order for it to be true?

Why not order each of the products with the free trial, use the product, lose the weight your way, and then offer the marketer documented proof. This is what I would want, as a marketer, if I were claiming testimonial results for anything.

Minimal cost and no risk to yourself or the marketer.
