SO I had a website that was making me around 25 cents per click. recently it improved in the SERPS and now the traffic is double. but earnings are still the same, even a tad bit lower than before. WTF! nothing has changed at all, other than the traffic....even the ads are same....anyone can shed some light on why this could be happening?

Your EPC would be the same (ie. CPC stays constant). If your traffic has doubled and your overall revenue has stayed the same, then your CTR has halved.
CPC isn't based on your website traffic, it's based on what price and how many other people are bidding on that keyword in adwords.

hey no - i just ran a report of my previous days earning and the EPC seems to have halved too. It was in the neighborhood of $70 and now it is $30 something. and nothing else has changed other than the traffic.. how come all advertiseres reduced their bids out of the woodwork..Not getting it!
