Initiation of a fight is NOT an act of self defense. Self defense is when you counter an attack of aggression, not initiating it.
Again, the act of aggression in this case is Zimmerman's act of following Trayvon. Don't let the initiation of the fight override that. If you feel your life is in danger, you're allowed to defend yourself.. given the circumstances. Zimmerman does not have to start an actual fight to legally allow Trayvon to defend himself. Self defense is putting a reasonable end to a threat.
Being followed is not an act of aggression. Confronting someone is not an act of aggression. Threatening someone with violence is an act of aggression and thats when you can defend yourself.
I listened to the first 20 min of Rachel Jeantel's testimony and damn, does that make a white person want to kill themselves. If that alone doesn't win the case for Zimmerman I'm not sure what will. I don't want to be that racists dude, but black people gotta step their game up in the proper vocab department.

A lot of folks in other states don't know about the Stand Your Ground laws. There have been some shaky cases where people have got off.
For this one of the cops didn't even charge him because it was pretty obvious it was self defense, only when the Pewep community uproar started did they have to take it to court.
Some would argue he shouldn't have followed but he's on neighborhood watch, that's his hood and it's his duty to protect it. Why isn't anyone saying that Treyvon shouldn't have double-backed and attacked the dude?

The kid fucked him up hard and I imagine it was around the time Zimmerman was getting his skull smashed against concrete that he decided to shoot him.

I busted out laughing when I first read this, then I felt bad for her.
She is probably realizing how much of a retard she actually is from this. No matter how much pride you have and how uneducated you are, when you can't read a letter that you "supposedly" wrote on live TV, you have to feel like shit.

At many points it seems like shes not really listening to the questions and is just replying "yes sir" or "no sir". I liked the part where the attorney asks the judge if they could play the video again for her, and precious answers him "no sir".
