But there are 68 Million additional visitors who types "youporn" into google search bar.. Youporn must require a data center larger than Youtube's man...

4) Profit

I ran a tube site for awhile. The problem is bandwidth gets very VERY expensive. You need to be maximizing your earnings per user extremely well for it to be profitable.

The above search volume is for the last Qtr of 2011
And I am not talking about any porn sites in particular, just the success of tube sites. People are searching for "pornhub" and "youporn" more than they search for "porn"

I hate going to tube websites. Can never find what I want. Half of them are just aggregators from other sites. Need to start looking for newer sites, but haven't found the time. Wish there was a cheaper option for a Netflix-type subscription or more pay-per-minute type sites.
 
The best thing about pornsites are that you can monetize them in so many ways. Only problem is that everyone in the adult business treats his competitors like women in hardcore porns.
