I have been wanting to "explore" the dating/adult/seduction niche for some time now. I have always assumed the barriers for entry would be rather high due to the competition and couldn't really find a "first step" to get me going.
But, I have been doing a lot of "research" on Tumblr and the Adult Niche / Porn lately and am thinking this may be something I can get into and see if the adult niche is for me. (Moral issues, profitability, etc)
I also read through the following posts as a guide of sorts and just for extra information, if anyone else wants to see what I am talking about.
Create Tumblr Traffic and Make Money with CrakRevenue -Pt.1 - CrakRevenue.com
Create Tumblr Traffic and Make Money with CrakRevenue -Pt.2 - CrakRevenue.com
But, with recent news of Yahoo buying Tumblr, does anyone think that Yahoo will try to crack down on the Porn that gets shared on Tumblr?
I read articles like this...
Tumblr takeover: Porn can stay insists Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer | Metro News
http://www.digitalspy.ca/tech/news/a483207/tumblr-porn-can-stay-says-yahoo-ceo-marissa-mayer.html
...but are they just going to flip-flop on this policy when they start to screw everything up, like they did with Flickr?
Does anyone think it would be a good idea to chill with this idea for a month or two to see if there are any policy changes that will make this model or should I just dive in now and hope for the best?
My gut feeling says, "Just do it already" but I am wondering if anyone else has some opinions on this...
Thanks
