Hey Media,

It is definetly usefull for an existing twitter account. JC used it on his, and he has over 25,000 followers. I think it would work better to tell you the truth, because you already brought credability to your twitter account, and when you request the follow, people are more prone to follow you back since youve been on a while, and the idea is, since your requesting a follow from a targeted audience, and interested you, you will get that follow back.

As far as SEO, I'm not really sure, you'll have to ask the SEO experts that one. I can tell you with more followers/readers to your website the more traffic, and I think traffic is included in google algorythm somewhere I'm sure.

Hello Media,

Unfortunately not, I have given 3 review copies away at least, and still waiting for the post. If you can get a review out today, PM me. I need a review posted today. Thanks a lot.

i had time booked to review this last week, but ran into some issues with the application not actually following twitter accounts. however, digga was able to resolve it, but it meant that the review got pushed back. looks like things are working now. if digga can comment on whether or not that's the kind of tech support people can expect in the future, that would be cool - because it was great - digga is easy to communicate with and took care of the problem fast.

REVIEW: twitter snipe

it's straight forward and it works. fairly easy install. if you can edit a wp-config file, you can install this. be sure to install it in the domainName.com/tsnipe/ folder as this current version doesn't allow for placing it anywhere else. digga assures me that future versions will have that capability.

enter your twitter username and password, authenticate the account, then start adding keywords. select the keywords and then snipe - now the application goes through and tries to follow the number of followers you set who match the keywords you picked.

i'm using this on a fresh new account, so i'm probably not seeing as good of a return as if it was a more established twitter account. digga has said it above that this program probably works best for accounts with some history and current followers... but some of the accounts that i'm following are following me in return so it's working.

couple things, why do i sometimes try and follow myself? and why am i trying to follow '@' sometimes? those seem like a couple quirks. maybe digga can expand.

program is priced to sell at $47.

nice addition to the premium software being offered by wickedfire members...

Hi Radio!

Thanks for taking the time to review Twitter Snipe! We make improvements everyday to the script, and follow algorythm. The reason it keeps trying to follow those same people is because it uses the current timeline to grab data from. The reason for this, is to ensure you get the active twitter users. This means, when you request the follow, you have a better chance of them seeing your request, and follow you back faster. This in turn will keep your twitter ratio higher, than making requests from users that are not active, or had said that 2 days ago. We are adding in the next update(and you get access to them all) an option to change a variable that can control howmany tweets back to go per kw. This will be a nice feature, but like I said, the best way to keep a higher ratio of followers, is to request the currenly active users. So, taking the way it works now, the more kw's, and more broader the kw's, the less interval in between each request can be put, because there is a better chance to catch someone that just said "internet marketing" over, "internet marketing online". You get the idea. Happy Tweeting! PM me for link.

My Review:

Very easy to install if you can edit a .php file like radio said. The interface is really nice and easy to use as well. There's instructional videos to show you how to use the application when you login that walks you through the entire process. I entered my username, keywords, and started sniping - that's all it took from me before I could let it run on it's own. My only gripe thus far is that it will sometimes try to follow the same person 5+ times but that can be alleviated by additional keywords.

edit: digga has addressed this above

A lot of people are looking for the 'next thing' in advertising and the way that twitter has exploded in the last month I think theres a lot of opportunity there. Overall I would recommend the app if you are looking to get into twitter and want a strong following.

Twitter Snipe Review:

First off, I have to say that digga has been excellent in answering any of the questions I've had with his program.

The installation was easy enough. Just read the directions, and follow them exactly. I installed late at night and missed a few things since I wasn't paying attention. Even with that, I think the whole process only took me 5-10 minutes.

Once its installed he has a nice little interface to add new users to your twitter account. The best thing to do is to use very broad keywords. Normally as internet marketers we like to be specific in keywords, but in this case, the broader the better.

I've talked to him about a few new features for future version and he was very supportive of them. It would also be nice if the program automatically deleted people you were following that didn't follow you after a certain amount of time. I think this would be an easy to keep the program on auto pilot.

If you're looking to get into marketing via twitter, this is a must have application.

That was the one thing I forgot to mention - if it had that feature the app. would be golden

abso-fucking-lutely! great recommendation.

probably want to be able to throttle that somehow and store the info on who you have followed and have not followed in return so you're not constantly following / refollowing someone. (wouldn't say blacklist them, but you don't want to follow for two days, unfollow, follow for two days, unfollow... repeat) not sure if that could become a reportable offense, but it would certainly be a sign of an account on auto-pilot.

...and it should only unfollow those that the tool followed. don't go unfollowing those who i have manually followed. again, nice script!

First off , thanks for taking the time to test it out, and review. That is definitely going to be in a near future update. I have a beta of it right now, but won't be ready for release for at least a week, but I will keep you posted, and will definitely return to this thread and announce when that is ready. For now, there are some free ones that can do that for you, do some searching ;)

Okay, people have been PMing me that they want to see it in action. We have a video for you that does just that. This video will show you Twitter Snipe, and the famous SNIPE. Tonight, I will post round 1 of how to start thinking of ideas to monetize your twitter account with targeted followers..for now, here's a video:

Humming bird - $250
This - $47

Hummingbird - Works off the friends user lists. It will follow friend's friends , but not targeted to keywords. You can do a manual search, and follow all users, however, it will not do it automatically. You can't just put it on and let it run.

The goal of Twitter Snipe, is to be a fully automated system to gain targeted users on a keyword level. That is what we improve on each update, and will continue to do so.

Monetize Twitter Round 1

Monetize Your Targeted Twitter Account Round 1.

Okay, so I introduced a tool that is for a free service that costs money. There must be some way to get that money back your thinking right? Well of course there is. This post is just an idea to get those creative juices flowing.

In order to have credibility, a high follower count, and keep it that way, you need to provide your followers with some assurance that you are not some spam bot, or provide them with some useful information, that will not even get them thinking that. First, of course is the icon, background, and profile. This is good for the initial follow request, but how do keep them as followers?

This example, I will be using twitterfeed.com. This can schedule auto tweets based on rss feeds, more importantly automated content for us to tweet to our accounts with. There are plenty of you with phpBay blogs, what if you followed users based on your phpBay niche, and put your RSS feed in twitterfeed? I already know the answer, free traffic.

I mentioned to keep them , you also need something to offer. Look for other RSS feeds, or your own blog on the subject, and auto tweet that. This will provide content on the niche, and hopefully keep them as a follower. Do not go overboard, the idea is to stay under the radar.

Also, put your twitter count and follow link on your website also, the more followers, the more your site will look authentic.

What if you don't have phpBay? EPN has RSS Feeds too ;). This technique comes courtesy of Ian, and there are plenty more. I have one waiting for round 2.
