If enough people start abusing it (or squatting, if you may) then twitter guys can easily yank it under you as you are under the mercy of just one organization making snap decisions -- however, at ICANN, domainers are at mercy of hundreds of governments, registries, legal systems and "consensus approach" systems. It is much easier and stable to game domains than twitter -- and I doubt that this thing will stay long since loud noise commies form a large part of twitter.
