U.S. Citizenship To Kids Of Illegal Immigrants?

Coming through Ellis Island was for pussies. Real Americans were born here.

I really don't care if people come here as long as it's done legally. I'm not anti-immigrant. I'm anti illegal immigration, and race doesn't matter.

Well _I_ am fucking anti Immigrant! (Not racists tho...Read on.)

The US Birth Rate has been declining in the last bunch of decades, since we got serious about teen pregnancy.

The US Lifespan actually had been declining too since the 1950s, just starting to pick up a bit...

But the US Population? Growing just fine, thank you. -So who does that leave???

Too damn many immigrants, both legal and illegal.

So as the World's population explodes, we can take all of the internal precautions we want, keep our youths couped up until they are 30, it doesn't matter... We keep letting the overflow in here, and soon it will be as crowded as India in Indiana!

I do like the idea of letting hard-working job creators in and kicking out the trailer trash... Any country that could get away with that would rule the world in 20 years flat!

They pay sales tax, they pay property tax...

No, they live in groups and take shifts to work. Where I live, I'll see a single van arrive at a house, 6-8 people will get out of the van and go into the house while the same number will get in. This van takes them to and from work.

Generally the van will carry about 3-4 shifts of workers a day. All of those are from the same extended or multiple families that are friends living together in the same house.

All of them shop at the same kind of stores, again as I said in the past post, you never see them at Wal-mart or any other kind of American store unless they have to be. They will shop from stores that are closely tied to Mexico so that they send money back there. Any money that is left over that they don't need (and it's a lot since they all share the same house) is wired with a money order back to Mexico every payday at the post office.

While they pay some sales tax, it's probably not all reported because I'm sure those shops fudge the numbers.

If we made it difficult for them to carry on this practice, they'd start paying sales tax in legit American stores that keep the money here, just like if it was hard for them to be living in shifts like that to lower the cost of living to send more money to Mexico each week.

Again, I'm not upset with them being here, just that they are funding one of Mexico's biggest money makers at America's expense. The money needs to go back into our economy.

I say open the boarders for all immigrants but just give them a higher income tax (like 40-50%) for the first 10 years of their stay here or until they legally become a citizen. It would help reduce the tax strain on the lower and middle class IMO and give the US government more $ from them.

I like your thinking. Highly logical, fucktard.

Kids should get the citizenship of their parents. That is how it works in most of the world. If my wife happens to have a baby while we are on vacation almost anywhere outside the United States, the baby does not automatically get citizenship where it is born.

funny enough if an American couple has a child while visiting Canada, the kid has dual citizenship from birth.

Rexibit, it's pretty low to suggest working men sending money to their families in other countries has a negative impact on the economy. These are productive people for the most part, give a mental thanks for them being there in the first place. If you think American welfare cases are going to do the shit they do then I want what you're smoking.

Futhermore, last time I checked stores located in America should be American whether the name is Xing Chongs Shop, Tienda Cecilia, or Joe's Grocery Store.

Wal-Mart is hardly American anymore, that's a globalist company and if you want a positive impact on the local economy then shop at local stores...Yes, the same stores you're denouncing.

It's the same with Mexico.

I'd rather them send money back to Mexico, because the only other alternative is bringing their families over. Keep in mind we're talking families who can't speak English, have a less than high school education, parents are near retirement-age, have little to no skills and contribute next to nothing to America.

While they don't spend inside our economy, at least we still have their labor value and tax money while their families stay in Mexico and out of our welfare system. At least that's how I see it as a benefit.

I guess I was wrong about illegals not paying payroll and income taxes. Illegals do pay social security, medicare and income taxes.

You know what's ironic in that article?

Last year, the revenues from these fake numbers — that the Social Security administration stashes in the "earnings suspense file" — added up to 10 percent of the Social Security surplus. The file is growing, on average, by more than $50 billion a year.

I see Mexicans at Wal-Mart all the time =P

In all seriousness, I don't think the 14th amendment is the problem here. I mean I was lucky to fall out of my mother's vaginahole on US soil, regardless of whether she was a US citizen or not. Giving millions of dollars to people who don't work, billions of dollars to businesses that suck at business, and trillions of dollars to old white men so they can kill brown people is what's really going on here.

As far as illegals go, if you've got the balls to sneak over here and work shit jobs just to do better for your family, I think that's pretty American. In fact, I'd say that's more American than a lot of people's lives who are born here.

Exactly.

If the kid is born here and by law is a citizen let the parents decide if they want to take it back to their country of orgin with them when they get deported.

Kids don't get to choose where they're born. I'd rather see them grow up to productive taxpayers than marginalize them further.

ellis island

referring to ellis island just goes to show how narrow minded people are on this situation.

Kick the Bs. and admit you just don't like brown immigrants. All you irish, german, and english mutts think you got some special calling from the motherland.

Get over your selves and back to the $$$ please.

This anchor baby pays more tax's then most.
