With all the racial tension going on here post Zimmerman verdict I thought it poignant to point out that at least we are not Europe where there is seemingly daily conflict between Catholics and Protestants. That would be a mess over here as most consider themselves either one or the other (even know they are exactly the same! haha).

Here we just have major conflicts between African-Americans and windows, liquor stores, bricks, and bottles.

And here, it all depends what color of shirt you have. Are you a red shirt, or a yellow shirt? They have military coups over it, and everything.

Then a bunch of other shirt colors showed up on the scene. Now we have the blue shirts, pink shirts, and even multi-colored shirts!

True story. Check Google News if you don't believe me.

Us humans seem to love our division.

Ireland is like New Orleans. Nobody wants to go there and nobody gives a fuck.

Broke ass gingers.

The us is not fucked up; The us is full of honest, hardworking, good people. The us .gov is a whole other matter

I like how OP thinks Zimmerman case is important. lol.

QFT. Our media is so full of shit with an obvious agenda it's sad that more people don't recognize it for the bullshit it is. Then we have people that acknowledge it's full of shit, but in the next breath regurgitate the same shit they spew on MSNBC/FOX/CNN.
Millions of people whipped up into an emotional frenzy over a murder trial they have zero actual connection with.

Saturday's verdict was a lot like the OJ trial, an acquittal in a racially charged murder trial.

And, though the tension seemed serious as fuck back then (LA riots were a fresh memory) - black and white look back at that farce of a trial and laugh. It actually had nothing to do with anyone's lives.

Saying, oh my god look at Ireland, Europe is fucked is like saying, oh my god look at Ciudad Juarez, North America is fucked.

Do you think there are daily conflicts between protestants and catholics in France, Germany, Wales, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria, Belgium, Denmark oh fuck it I give up, you're probably just trolling and I keep falling for it here on WF.

Because thats like never drinking pepsi and saying Coke is better.

I didn't say one was better than the other. I was making a statement that while you see racial tension here in the U.S., at least there is not a large amount of religious tension. Oh and also that Catholics and Protestants are the same, so yes your Coke and Pepsi analogy fits because they are essentially the same as well.

daily conflict between Catholics and Protestants

Where do you get daily from an isolated incident? This is the media hyping up a handful of protesters that 99% of people don't care about. Ireland is one of the safest countries in the world to live in. So keep visiting, we need your tourist monies due to the economy being in the toilet

Nice map. But actually do you wanna who's f'd up? Russia is. I mean its government. With all these new laws it comes as no surprise.

Religious tension in Europe outside Ireland is almost nonexistent. Even in Ireland it's not the sort of thing you're likely to encounter unless you go out of your way to do so. America's racial tensions on the other hand...
