Most often, anything is possible but what is the cost in time/$ to achieve it.

That being said, I was thinking it might work well to make a "super web site", a.k.a. Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is one site with shit tons of pages but is there a way to work this in the opposite way - a bunch of websites all funneled into one and in the end the one website is getting the most SEO recognition?

Hope that makes sense.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Essentially you're just talking about pumper sites?

I suppose so? If what you mean by pumper site is a website designed to give another site rep/seo rank, etc.

Side thought: perhaps doing backlinks between all of your own pages would be better than going out into the internet to shady sites? It would take a long time potentially, to get all of the sites up to the level needed but when they did, it seems you would have a powerful network.

My original thought was basically this example:

1. Buy lots of websites with popular search phrases in them (longtails probably)
2. Have all of them show solid information/good content on the specific longtail/phrase
3. Include contact us, about us, etc. for Google "integrity"
4. Have them all "point" to the main site somehow?
5. Hopefully, in time, you'll see the main site get a lot of reputation off of this? (if so, would hosting them all in the same server be bad? Instant red flag to Google?)
5. Over time, see the seo pour in? D:

Just trying to figure out which ideas would work.

Thank you for any information/time you provide, much appreciated!

Have a look through the BST there are several well respected sellers offering pumper site networks. Old domains with existing backlinks would be better than new domains too. It's a huge time-consuming beast if you want to make lots of pumper sites yourself so you're best off paying someone who specialises in it to do it so you can focus on other things.

Good call on that - time is too limited.

Thank you for the information and may you be most successful in your ventures!

I agree with this. You manually doing things take too much time.
