Umm, should I "NoIndex" my "contact" and "about' pages for my blog?

For "About Me" and "contact" pages for my blog, should I No Index them?

what are the pros/cons, if any. I wasn't sure what to do.

My website has very few static pages btw. Mostly a blog. maybe 4-5 static pages even including these 2 pages mentioned above.

It's not necessary to noindex, just spend a 10 minutes writing a mini blurb and move onto the next step.

Like he said.

Each page you create is an opportunity to add content configured to help your site rank. You just need to be a little creative with your verbage.

the more indexed pages you have, the better - even if using duplicate content for contact us page I would see no reason to noindex

You probably got this idea from the whole "page sculpting" movement - but don't worry about it. I think contact pages and about pages are a good thing for google to see. Same with Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Why would you consider no-indexing the About Page? I know people no-index the contact us page, since it might contain email addresses, which they don't want email harvesters getting and spamming them. But other than that, what's the point of no-indexing pages that can help get you additional traffic?
