But I believe that identity_00 has a point and I'd add to that the fact that China, Russia, and India are not in as bad of shape as EU & USA are... So it's just a "One West currency" in concept. -Which totally doesn't sound like it's going to happen.

Isn't the China/India are soaring ahead narrative just a media circle jerk?

They may be relatively better off than they used to be, but still have hundreds of millions in poverty with people working for $2.50 a day.
