Ok, so i got a little antsy and uplaoded a campaign to adwords before i took proper care to make sure i had good QS. Didn't have contact us, PPolicy, About, any of the usual stuff. Stupid mistake. I know..

But now that i got slapped with $5.00 bids within an hour of the campaign being up, i went back and added that stuff. Assuming my keywords are related to my site, how long should it take to get bids back to normal? Or am i screwed?

Also, will google ban me if i just reupload my campaign to another account of mine hoping that since i have everything in place from the start i won't get slapped?

Couldn't you just make a fresh campaign and re-upload your stuff to start over? Unless you think it's to the point where it will affect your entire account.

Well, i created a seperate campaign for content/ broad match, and it had the same issue, but i have other campaigns for other offers in my account not slapped.

I mean, it could be my keywords, but they are pretty related to my page, and when i first uploaded i was all "OK" and "Great". typically i find if my keywords are irrelevant i get "Poor"\ off the bat...

bigwill,

don't mean to impose, but do you have anything to share with regards to the problem that gordon's encountering? i've personally started a few threads on various forums regarding this very issue and would love to induge your thoughts, either publicly or in private on any potential solution or that which even sheds any light on this issue.

thanks,

I made the same mistake in the past, not once. I tried moving the campaign, changing ads, regrouping keywords, nothing worked. Then I bought a new domain, changed the URL in ads (obviously), improved the landing page (added navigation, privacy policy, about, contact), uploaded the campaign and bam, €0.04 for most of the keywords.

last time i asked a similar question people said i'd probably need a new domain name. google said it was slapped cos the ctr was bad.. and told me to experiment with more ad variations. how does one do that with $5 bids? cant figure that shit out.

In this same vein of thought, can you get QS slapped after you've had a campaign up.

EDIT: That sounds stupid. I mean to say, obviously a poorly setup site gets slapped almost immediatly or in the near future. However can existing campaigns get slapped a few weeks after with no changes due to content issues?
