I had a domain parked with sedo.com . Now, I have developed a page for the domain and I want my domain to direct visitors there. I changed the nameservers back to what they were orginally and deleted the domain from the sedo domain management window but it still keeps serving up the parked page. Is there some sort of lag time when you make these changes or am I doing something wrong?

It takes up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the internet when you change the name servers, but I've never had it take too long. Wait a couple hours, then go back and see what you did wrong.

Start -> Run -> CMD
ipconfig /flushdns
Exit

Reboot. Sometimes, you may need to reboot the modem. After this, you'll have a better chance of getting your DNS updated from your ISP if you are on broadband. If their DNS is quick, you'll see the new page quickly.

Thanks Scott, but I have no idea what you're talking about. The site is working now though, there was about an hour of lag time after I made the changes on my netfirms and sedo accounts. thanks

Scott was saying that somewhere down the line, possibly at your modem or your computer, they still had the old nameservers. So he was suggesting how you could tell your computer to reset them. It works sometimes.
