Updating my televisions - opinions please

I rate Samsung very highly when it comes to Plasmas, we got a 44" and watching HD on it amazing.

LCD Most def. Plasma is pretty played out these days.

^^^^^

sharp aquos lcd.

as far as people talking about refresh rate with lcd, you must not have a 120 or 240 mhz. My current lcd is smoother than my last plasma was.

Samsung LED ....55 inch... 2500 approx if you cant afford that you shouldn't have 4000 posts on a forum about making money

The 3d LED tvs are the shit. I think the OLED tvs are on the way in real soon but are going to be pretty expensive. I've seen the deal for this TV, blu ray player and the 3d glasses for like 3k. I don't know if there's anybody else who's got this deal. I think I saw a Tiger Direct advertisement for it as well.

I've got a Pioneer Elite Plasma as well as a Sony Z LCD and like em both but major warning with plasma is that you can get burn in. So basically if you watch alot of the same channel with a logo at the bottom of the screen, or you watch some non-HD channels in 4:3 mode, you can burn this stuff almost permanently into your screen. I did this with my Pioneer and the only cure for it is to run your TV in full 16:9 or stretch the screen on 4:3 channels. With LCD you never have to worry about this problem.

But now I would go with a Samsung LED if it's within budget or even one of their 3D models. There's just something about Samsung's "picture movement" that I've noticed that kicks ass on any other TV I've ever watched. Sit next to a high end Samsung and a high end Sony playing the same Blu-Ray at the store and you'll know what I mean. Even with the same specs (I.e. 1080P @ 240hz refresh, 4ms response time) there's just something about Samsung that is superior. You'll notice it with stuff moving on the screen, it just looks so fucking realistic on a Samsung, I wish I could explain it. You'll have to see it to obviously know what I'm talking about.

This will obviously be my next TV, but you'll notice this picture quality differences even without having to get an LED or a 3D TV that the pic quality is better with Samsung. Man I sound like a fanboi, but I don't even own one and I'm on their bandwagon.
