Hey guys, this might be a bit of a weird question but here go's.
I registered a domain some time ago, and started building a website on that domain with wordpress, but I found it was far to lacking in the control it gave me over the webpage, so I decided to learn how to use dreamweaver and now I pretty much finished building my website in there.
So I want to upload it, the problem is, that the server still has alot of folders on it from when I started building with wordpress, and I'm not sure which folders I can and I can't delete before I upload my site with dreamweaver.
Do you guys have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

there should be a root folder that corresponds you to your domain.
if you have wordpress installed, its the folder that contains wp-content
You can delete everything (take a backup first maybe) there, and upload your custom scripts

Okay I'm stressing out here, I deleted everything in the public html folder and I started uploading my website.
I thought everything went okay but then I went to my website and I see a white screen, which says, Index of/ Apache mod_fcgid/2.3.5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage blablabla.
Then I checked my remote server and somehow while uploading it placed the files outside of the public html folder, what am I supposed to do now?

dreamweaver was easier to work with than wordpress for you?

..kinda afraid to look at the site,
nonetheless, gratz on your site launch! :)

No bro not easier, definately not.
But like I said , I found wordpress lacked control over the page, I want to be able to fully customise it and dreamweaver allows me that control.
It took me about 3 weeks of hard work but I am able to build decent websites with dreamweaver now, and I can say I'm very happy I made the effort into learning dreamweaver.
