This is bull.
This guy is part of the problem of why Americans and military members are viewed with disgust in many parts of the world. Yeah, you can be pissed, yeah you can chew some people out. But why the excessive swearing and threatening the people you have been assigned to train with physical violence? That's just uncalled for. Yeah he may have had a legitimate beef with these guys, but forming them up to cuss them out didn't do him or his men a doggone bit of good.

I'm sure we could go on for hours about who is more right about his position, but at the end of the day, you're no better than the camel fuckers the solider was yelling at. So what if you've been to that shit-hole called Iraq. They weren't a threat to us in 2001 and they sure as shit aren't a threat now. Fact is I was enjoying a football game and a cold beer while you were likely scooping sand out of your ass crack in 130 degree heat. You hold the title of "air force" high above your head for all to see, then condemn the country you agreed to loyally serve.

Reading your post it seems to me that you've misunderstood why I posted to begin with. I agree with you that they are not a threat to us, hence why I don't think we should even be there. As far as condemning the country I agreed to serve I'm not condemning the country itself - just the way this soldier chose to conduct himself while doing his job.

As far as my loyalties - I'm loyal to my country first and always. If you don't think that's true then fine, your entitled to your own opinion. I find it amusing that you labeled me (and\or the Air Force) a liberal.

Blindly following "authority" got us into this mess and it won't get us out of it. I agree with the soldier too, but by condemning Matt on accusations of anti patriotism you are reinforcing the same psychology that drives us to babysit other countries.

I am going out on a limb and stating that you never served in the US military or if you did you were discharged dishonerably. This guy is pissed that he left his family and had to relocate thousands of miles in the middle of hell to help those that don't give a fuck and wish him dead.

If you are in or was in the military you never served a day in the conditions that this man serves in. He is a hero and a patriot..you are the pussy that he speaks of.

You think that this soldier is any different than any other foreign or domestic soldier stationed in a war zone? When your life in on the line, manners and pleasantries go to the wayside.

EDIT: He should have pulled his sidearm out and dropped the first fool that spoke up for dramtic effect. It't the only thing these idiots really understand.

Further, is anything he said less than what you went through in basic training? Being that your name is "AirForceMatt" I would assume that would have been Lackland (unless you're calling yourself that because of ROTC or something). Either they've turned into complete pussies, you've never served in the military, or got extremely lucky with a soft ass TI. Nothing he said even remotely shocked me. I heard 1000x worse thrown in my face in the military and it wasn't that long ago (less than 10 years).
 
To late to edit earlier post: You also metioned "airforcematt" that the American soldier is looked at in disgust by the rest of the world. What about all the American soldiers that have given their lives in Iraq trying to save an innocent Iraqi?

I have known 7 Americans that have lost their lives in Iraq and 5 of them were killed trying to save Iraqi innocents. They didn't have to put their lives on the line for some arab kid or women they didn't know. They did because it was the right thing to do.

We have the most professional and merciful armed forces on earth. I can't believe someone with the name "airforcematt" wouldn't realize this.
