Just tried to register merchant account and get a message "Please use a US PayPal account to proceed."

Not a merchant account with Paypal, but a merchant account with a bank...like Wells Fargo, etc. Then you can use Authorize.net as the gateway.

I second the suggestion for Authorize.net. You look more reputable when you can accept credit cards, not just Paypal.

The fact that you're admitting to being banned from Paypal will make people suspicious. Why did you get banned?

It would be great but our laws do not allow to have bank account in foreign country. I think the only way is to register LLC or something like this.

The same here, Authorize.net requires bank account. And I'm not banned from PayPal, I live in a country where PayPal is not available.

So now I'm trying click2sell, so far so good.

2checkout are cool, we use them for a while now and had no problems with them. Also there is a discount code that makes opening the account free, but i can't remember right now what it is..
