As you may all know, Facebook decided to show the Destination URL of your ads. I was testing a few Dating ads that was breaking even for me in another campaign and i realize that the stats was way off from that new campaign. So, i thought about viewing the ads on my profile and i came across this :

Keep in mind that i'm promoting a Canadian and a Italian Dating Offer from EWA (Not a IQ Quiz), I have the right Targeting, it redirects to the offer when tested, this is not my destination url, i wasn't using any LPs to promote these Dating offers, and that i'm using P202.

So, WT???

It should will show the URL that the user will be directed to if they click on it.

So if you are promoting a CA/IT offer, a user in that country will see the correct URL. If you view the ad from the US it will show you the IQ quiz because that is where a US click will be directed too.

EDIT: It is odd that you are a Canadian user and you still see the IQ quiz link on your Canadian ad.

Exactly! I thought about the same thing but then again, im from CA and im not suppose to see that url.

You are on the right track but I think it is showing the URL that FB's bot goes to based on where the bot IP address is from. Same issue as when ads get reviewed and then denied because the reviewer is in the wrong country and gets redirected.

+rep for the heads-up, I hadn't checked that on any of my intl accts since the display url shit went into effect. Now that i do; of 7 campaigns, 5 are showing wrong url's (via proxy located in target country).
