Verizon Aircard & SSL Issue?

I have a VZW air card for when im traveling and want to use my laptop. All of a sudden it seems that any ssl certificate gets an error that the certificate cannot be authenticated. These are big sites its happening on, twitter, FB etc. Any idea what could be the issue?

Just an update on this, apparently if the date and or time on your computer is wrong it can magicvally cause an ssl certificate to be "not trusted." Makes zero sense to me but when i fixed the date and time it fixed the problem.
