I'd like to try virtual trading so that I won't risk a dime, do you recommend any place where to open a free virtual trading account? I just want to try, say kind of a game

thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll have a look at those sites: I created a test portfolio on cnnmoney but I'd like to play with something that keeps track of transaction fees etc

I've read some stuff here and there, MarketWatch - Stock Market Quotes, Business News, Financial News has some very basic guides

my interest is driven primarily by the nasdaq, so USA is the market I'm interested into

optionsxpress and think or swim both have virtual account platforms to test strategies on. both are good brokers with good transaction prices for when you want to make the actual switch to real trading.
