Visiting New York next month

Can't find the source, but I read an article a while back where someone went to top-end, long reservation time restaurants, with no reservation, on valentines day, slipped the maitre-d' £20, had a table within five minutes. May not work for all of them, but widens your field of choice a bit.

McSorley's Old Ale House - Order 1 beer, you get 2 (they're small). Dark or light. That's it.

If you go on a weekend, get there early. Otherwise you'll be waiting on a line with other tourists... Or just go during the week.

Go to Citifield for the food and to watch the visiting team. I ate at Pat LaFreida's Chop House last month while I was there, I'd buy a ticket to CitiField just to eat there again. You have the Shake Shack and a bunch of other food vendors there too. The Mets suck.

Pat La Freida's provides most of the high-end restaurants in NYC with their meat.

They have the US Tennis Open in August.

You can see a Broadway show, the Bronx Zoo, The Met, Museum of Natural History. Or just go to the Hamptoms or the Jersey Shore like everyone else, no one wants to be in NYC in the Summer.

You have to go to Bagatelle - craziest, most ballin' brunch.

I'm in nyc - feel free to pm me.
