I know some of you have real sophisticated set ups and our efficiency experts. If you could chime in with your thoughts I would really appreciate it.

Challenge:

I need to run an autoresponder on one PC and I want that to be the only thing on there.

1) Because it gets Buggy sometimes so I thought a PC with just windows and just TheBAT (Badass Autoresponder btw) would work better.
2) I dont want anybody to dick around with the autoresponder as its currently on the PC that gets the most use on a personal basis.

I need to seperate the personal computer from the Autoresponder.

I have another PC with good specs that I can dedicate purely to this. But I have a simple desk and dont want 2 Monitor set ups.

Is there a toggle switch I can use to go back and forth?

Or am I a perfect candidate for VM ware and load 2 OS on a PC?

The main PC is a quad core with really good specs so I think I could handle it?

What would you guys do in this situation. Hopefully this is clear.

Sorry not the coolest thread in the world but would certainly appreciate some guidance.

Also don't want to spend a ton of money on this whether its VMware or alternative or a toggle switch of sorts.

Use a KVM switch = 1 monitor, keyboard, and mouse to multiple PC's. Inexpensive depending upon the # of pc's you want to connect.

VM ware and load 2 OS on a PC

This works well using a remote desktop viewer like VNC viewer directly into a vmware instance running. Or I suppose Microsoft's remote desktop if you have windows instances running.

Thanks Adam. Just checked out the KVM switch. I think this will be perfect. Sucks my keyboard and mouse are not USB will need to pick those up.

Appreciate the help!
