VPN with private IP address?

I use privateinternetaccess for general stuff.

But can anyone refer me to a similar VPN service that offers private IP's... i.e. so there is zero chance it isn't already banned @ google etc.

I figure I could use OpenVPN and set it up on my own VPS, but that looks a little fiddly for me.

any suggestions?

How hard is OpenVPN to set up for a non-programmer type?

My skill level is: ftp, cpanel, html, crummy php

Where my geekiness starts to fail is SSH command line shit.

This method works great.

From Europe I'm getting a 54mb download in New York (speedtest.net). I usually get about 45mb with no proxy.

The ping is higher, but surfing is still very responsive.

i use a digitalocean vpn that costs $5 dollars a month with 1 ip and openvpn server.

If you can get by with a proxy instead of a VPN, you can set this up in seconds with a couple parameters when you login through SSH to almost any server. I'll post the instructions if proxy will work for you.
