Walking bids down on Facebook with a winning ad

Hey Everyone,

Uploading a screenshot of my campaign just so I don't have to explain all the numbers below.

Basically I have a fairly small demo, around 25k that started out and I tested with 2 headlines and 10 pictures. As you can see I clearly have a winner (.5% CTR and it converts around 7/8%). But I have a few questions:

1. I left the bid at $2.06 and I know facebook automatically lowers your CPC, as you can see mine is around 50 cents, do I need to lower my actual bid? I feel like with a .5% CTR I should be getting a much lower CPC, but maybe I am wrong.

2. I was told I can get a lot more traffic if I take my winning ad, and then split test with a bunch of different headlines in a new campaign. This campaign has been going for like 3 days, and as you can see I am getting jack shit for impressions.

3. Is the Avg. CPC determined on a campaign level, or a per ad level (i.e. when facebook lowers your cpc automatically).

Just looking for some optmization tips anything will help thanks.

for that small of a demo, you prob need to hit 1.0 or 2.0 + to get the lower bids you want. Your so small at 25k, you should be converting more.

Ok cool I appreciate the advice. What demo do you normally start out with? Around 100k maybe? I know it can differ obviously I have heard generally things that re 300k+ are just a shot in the dark.

Also, is my theory on creating more campaigns with the same ad repeating itself true?

Also, I noticed out of the blue today one of my ads (the top one in that picture) seems to be getting all the impressions/clicks, but obviously isn't converting for shit. What should I do, just close down this campaign and launch a new one full of my winning ads or what?
