But for real, my main beef with WaFo is that it`s full of deluded retards. But you know what? WaFo is a great place for broke newbies to start out/build up a bit of capital. Running one of those offers really doesn't take that much effort. Reinvest the profits into paid traffic, services, seo, whatever the fuck you like.
If you already make at least $50 per day in profit then don't bother, but if you're completely broke and desperate - running a WSO might just give you that "kick start" that you oh so need. If you can't profit at least $40-$100/day running a quick WSO... well that's just sad.
1. Make a list of 3-5 seo/ppc/whatever "techniques" and read as much as you can about them. Then write up something clever, add graphs, do a case study or two (add all data to your report). Attach some stupid excel spreadsheet to the report to make it look "cool" (can be web 2.0 site lists, sb website lists, places to buy traffic, etc).
Your ebook should be over 50 pages long. The longer the better really. Most of them never get past the first 20 or 30 pages. They also like to print them out, so make it look big and shit. Format your report well, use colours and shit.
2. Make it easy to download after purchase. They love that.
3. Go over 3-5 successful sales letters/threads there and see how they do it. Then write up 2-3 different sales letters to split test at launch.
4. Always split test your WSO titles. This can make or break your WSO.
5. Have a refund guarantee. Make it something stupid like 90 days or w/e. Very few of them actually ask for a refund.
6. Fake your sales stats/income screenshots. Easy to do and no one on WaFo gives a fuck about it. Make your stats look believable.
7. Message 3-5 people before the launch and offer review copies. ask them to post feedback as soon as your thread goes live. This is important. These can be from serial reviewers, most people there are too thick to tell.
8. Promise a big bonus or something cool to your prospective buyers, but make them wait. Call your report a "pre-launch". Say it's 50% off for a limited time only. When time comes, deliver something something as a bonus, but don't spend too much time thinking about it. Don't forget to make them opt into your list if they want to receive the cool bonus, haha.
Now since you're selling an ebook and your costs are literally zero - make it cheap. Something like $9.95 or $19. Forget about $7/$17/$27 - those convert the same as $9/$19/$29.
Posting a WSO costs $40 or so (not sure) and there's also a fee for "bumping" your WSO to the top. After launch try to split test different sales copy/titles. Make sure you wait at least 24 hours before making any changes (need more data...).
Do not bump your WSO up more than 3-4 times (once every 24 hours or so). Use this time/money to split test conversion rates AND time zones. Do "bumps" at different times of day to see what give you more exposure/conversions.
If after 3-4 "bumps" you are spending more than making - stop. Do no pay for any more bumps. Get a WaFo signature banner subscription (unsure about the price) and link to your WSO (same as most of the older members do here with their SEO sales threads - very effective).
Since WaFo sig. banners are very limited in size, you need to make them catchy (do a red or yellow background with "ATTENTION!!!" or "CLICK ME WOOO!" written in the biggest possible font size. Have a text link to your WSO right below the banner. People click on that shit.
Now it's time to start trolling the forum. Build this into your daily routine (many people do the same thing here/on wafo/other IM forums): 3-5 posts in the morning, another 3-5 posts before going to bed. This technique alone will bring in 3-5 sales per day. No other costs, no need to pay for "bumps", etc.
Just keep doing this until you've saved up enough money to do whatever your real plan is. lolz.

Not fucking around, 35 products later I can confidently say those people are JONESING to make money and if you show them a path to do it without having to hawk more mmo shit to even newer noobs, they will love you and your conversion mastered offer looooong fucking time. Just avoid the WSO section like the plague and it's not that bad if you're there to recruit.
If you can see how easy they are to influence, then you should see multiple ways to monetize with them not from them. Been there since 2007 as well and because WickedFire is mostly CPA stuff (lately it's been balancing out nicely though - wafo is mostly CB - which is my world but no mmo's), that place accounts for a good few thousand of my current affiliates - and shiiiit as noob as some of them are they are also easy to train and mould for your needs. *Not trying to be a WaFo poster boy but everytime I see people hate on them I also smile a bit on the inside because you haz no idea how much money you might be leaving on the table by discrediting a big group like that - who are only naive because that place conditions them that way.
