I'm interested in it all though because whatever happens over there impacts most countries in one way or another, whether it be supporting the retarded foriegn policy currently in place, or shit poor fiscal policy - it all seems to have an overflow effect.

FWIW, I would vote for Paul if I could. He's the only politician I've heard speak anywhere in the world for the last two decades that makes remotley any sense, and seemingly understands the idea of common sense.

This is just a circus to keep people entertained, it was always going to be Romney vs Obama. The GOP has a pecking order and it's Mitt's turn.
 
Romney's problem is he's been tarnished with the 'loser' stigma. Think about it: he lost to McCain, who lost to Obama. People are aware of that, consciously or otherwise.

Also, nobody actually likes him. He's just the 'least bad' viable candidate.

Yes. I mentioned that here. The other candidates are non-issues (though Gingrich is still a wild card at this point).

If I'm Axelrod, I'm focusing on Romney. If I'm Rhoades (Romney's camp. manager), I'm looking for October surprises on the others, and cultivating relationships in media to facilitate the leaks.

If I'm one of the other candidates' advisors, I'm wondering how long I'll have my job.
