Am I the only person who feels this violates first amendment rights? While this will be a massive speed bump for everyone first amendment lawyers will be all over this like white on rice. Expect suits to be filed within days (if not hours) if this passes. I don't see how the US Supreme Court would support this as long as the argument is strong enough.
The supreme court exists to protect us from the tyranny of the majority. The majority is irate now .. I wouldn't bank on the SC using common sense and besides, by the time it gets there, the damage is already done.
