Enough is Enough. We have Fucking Assholes making threads and posting everywhere. And Fucking Mods that actually say in the Ban Thread "oh post a permalink or I'll ban you." WTF?! Bullshit!

You wanted to be a Mod so be a Fucking Mod, or email Jon and tell him you want out. Period.

I say put Galacon in for... 3 days out of every 30. But let him pick the 3 days.

Yeah, that asshole mod is me.

Dude. You don't see half of what we do every day.

There is a button that kills any sign of a user existing..hard deletes all threads, kills the user. I hit that hard every day, and I am sure the other mods are as well.

Bottom line, what you think is "lots of spam" is just the tip of the iceberg that escaped us.

And to ask for a LITTLE BIT of help when dealing with this shit is not too much, methinks.

On the other hand, I don't get paid for this shit, AND you don't have to pay for this forum so how about you shut up and put your mouth to better use.

Auto-ban any member whose rep turns red.

That would be the quickest way to get rid of malcontents.

I remember when dresden was red, years before he went off the rails. Auto-banning him back then would have nipped the problem in the bud. (After all, he was red for a reason.)

Malcontents are a great distraction for the natives (that's us). That's probably the reason so many of them seem to get a temporary pardon from the mods.
 
I don't see the incentive. Like, at least on imgur or stupid ass reddit you get internet points for wasting time all day. Mods don't even get any special internet points.
