It's actually pure bullshit. Not only are they tax exempt, but they don't have to apply to be tax-exempt. If you're a church, you're tax exempt. So you end up with guys like Ted Haggard fucking gay prostitutes while choking down meth on the church's dime and no one gets in trouble for it because there is no accountability because if you've got faith, you've got exemptions.

Also, the stipulation of non-taxation of churches is that they can't fund or promote any political agenda. And to that I say: fucking fuck. Name me a church that isn't pushing for some sort of political agenda.

One day, you will see me petitioning the government to tax the ever living shit out of churches.

Expand you're target market. Instead of saying "God" say "God/Vishnu/Allah/Krishna/Shiva/Batman"

And instead of saying "church" go with something that covers all religions instead of just christian ones, like "sheep pen"

I want 10% of all profits from this idea.

thats really the only thing i care about. i dont care that our money or pledge has god in it. I get a little annoyed when religious groups use their tax exempt money for political shit (but other non profits do too so whatever). But on this issue seriously our kids are so far behind , stop with the bullshit. Double math and science and help us compete again. I get so mad when I read about the crap these school boards are doing in the south. Leave science alone or I'm coming after you.

If you don't think evolution is real at this point you are a fucking moron and willfully ignorant, at least have the decency to let your kids learn what the rest of the world accepts and mountains of evidence supports.
