Wealth Inequality in America

The only wealth inequality that is important is between the taxpayers and the government parasites. The parasites should have less wealth (0%) and the productive should keep more (100%) of theirs.

Hello friends,

Only those who no rich complain wealth inequality and say rich should share money. If poor person who complain wealth inequality sudden become very rich then they sudden no complain about wealth inequality anymore. Will then complain that tax to high.

Good luck bros

Yet there is very little income inequality.

Poor people spend their money on stupid things. The wealthy invest it.

Maybe as a % in direct juxtaposition to accumulated assets, but there is a very large difference in disposable income inequality. I am not against it, just taking issue with your post.

Before anyone else ignorantly tosses the "communism" card around , maybe watch this...

If taxes on the rich go up, they take their money and invest elsewhere (outside the US).

This has happened and continues to happen.

That doesn't make his argument any less true, it's just a half truth.

I can't stand it when liberals try to talk about wealth inequality and how the rich are so evil. If you're not happy being a broke bitch, work harder, and keep working hard until you're rich. Problem solved!

People who believe that they need "help" and "support" to be successful are people who will never be successful. Believing that they have no influence over their own lives or level of success means they're either lazy, stupid, or just shooting themselves in the foot with unnecessary negativity.

When I started college, I had about $20 in my wallet and my bank account was overdrawn because I had to buy gas for my car. I worked my ass off, and now I live in a house with a $70,000 pool and I drive a Maserati. I never once asked anybody for "help" nor did I ever receive any.

I welcome wealth inequality with open arms. It's what separates the parasites from the real men.

Redistribution of Halloween candy doesn't sound very fair, at least to the kids who have a lot of candy:

Taking out an unnecessarily gigantic mortgage and car loan is still essentially the same thing as overdrawing your bank account for gas. You're just fucking up on a bigger scale. (Unless you paid in cash, then bravo!)

Oh no, the house is paid off. I'm not going to bullshit and say I'm living in a 5 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills (yet), but it's a nice house in a nice area, and quite a step up from having a negative net worth. My point was that "moving up" is clearly possible, and people need to stop blaming everyone else and asking for help all the time when they're surprised that their 3-hour-a-day shift at McDonald's isn't paying them enough to be able to afford a Ferrari.

did you in all seriousness attempt to refute my post (about outdated graphs) with 2 of 3 graphs ending in 2007 & 2010?

really?

"attempting to refute" implies you had a claim that merited a refutation. if you can find newer graphs, feel free.

That's (partially) the point of graphs I've been displaying. Taxes on the wealthy were far higher in the past and they didn't flock to other countries. The problem here is the overemphasizing of tax rates on investment decisions by the wealthy. They are a factor, just not to the degree so many people are led to believe from the usual talking points coming from certain sources.

You might want to actually watch the video and actually read the comments.

Already watched it. I found it motivational.

You're welcome to believe whatever you want, but a forum of rich, hard-working guys is probably not the best place to break out the liberal entitlement attitude. To each his own.

Oh wow, are most of the people on here rich? That would explain the largely vitriol responses, though not necessarily the laziness in ignoring the facts and stats that have been put forward and trying to write them off as "liberal entitlement attitude" or a belief that the "rich are evil." Imagine if we were all such blowhards in our marketing efforts.
