Webmaster Offshore - anyone tried them?

Sounds retarded.. if your wanting anonymous then wtf would you want a Swiss bank account? Haven't you been watching the news the last 5 years and what the Swiss did to all those Americans that held accounts there? Anyways, might be good IF you can change all the BS ( like the Swiss in the bank account option ).

Also, dont you know you can have an anonymous LLC here in the states ( not sure if you american )? Just have that LLC open your offshore for you under its name.

Agreed it should be a Singapore bank account.

But what about the fees and such. Seem ok?

Yes, of course it is, but I dont think I would be too comfortable sending that company $7500 to get it done :338:

I would assume you could actually meet in person with these guys. Not sending $7500 over Paypal to some anonymous dude either.

Well, people have diff ideas on this...

But I think the best course of action is to first hold a dual citizenship with another "friendly" country, say a country you would like to visit a lot for vacations and doesn't tax it's citizens on outside earned income ( or any at all regardless where its made ). Lets say you chose Panama. Panama has no tax on outside income and has a really respectable sales tax too for living there.

Once you have that, its a lot easier ( though not totally easy ) then just being American traveling around the world. Once you get to Panama you set up your bank accounts and and companies wherever you want under you Panama Passport ( could have a bank in singapore, a company in dominca, etc )

Dual citizenship is the first place I would be looking bro, not where can I start an offshore anything.

I already have dual citizenship but not in any tax havens. I am also not American. I plan to spend my time divided between two ot three countries in the future and have no use for any of the socialist 'services' my tax goes to.

Great, your already leaps and bounds ( dual + none are American ). ahead of everyone else then.

I'd look into doing it all myself, and just paying people as I go instead of paying everything to 1 firm.

as previously mentioned, your first red flag ought to be that this provider would even consider setting you up with a swiss bank account. there are much better options for offshore banking than switzerland & much better options for offshore incorporation than bvi. setting up offshore is a good idea, but you can do it yourself a la carte for much less than $7500 & have it in safer jurisdictions.

Yes, everyone keeps saying this, but when it comes to specific information there is either none available or it's hearsay or plain wrong information. For example, opening a corporate bank account in Singapore with a BVI company as the owner is not as simple as just walking into a bank. So little information available and I suppose that is for the best, but makes it very difficult to do it yourself.

personally i wouldn't bank in singapore for offshore stuff... too susceptible to external pressure. that said, if you own a bvi corporation & you want a corporate account in singapore, why not ask a major singapore bank what you need to do? are you trying to get one without divulging who owns the entity?

I should have drawing rights alone, but the account should be registered to the BVI company with the strawman director.

$7500 must be some kind of joke. You can set up an offshore corp, with bank account and credit card processing, for a fraction of that amount through a legitimate law firm in any one of a number of different jurisdictions. All you have to do is fill out the paperwork and wire them the money. I know there are other considerations if you're an American, but it's not that difficult.
