Hey guys, I would like to ask your help to valuate my website and tell me how much can I sell it for.

Unique content - 240 articles on 15 different categories
Daily UV - average 300/day
Monthly income - $170
Age - 3 months old
Design - Premium template (bought it for $99)
SERPs - top-10 ranking for a few keywords (32 precisely)
Backlinks - over 4000 backlinks throughout the site.
PR - 2

I'll add in free 2 months SEO for the buyer as well.

Please help me by giving your feedback on how much this site can be sold. Just a rough idea will help a lot.

Thanks!

The valuation multiple will depend on a few different variables:
- how steady is the income?
- how fast can the income grow?
- where does revenue come from (adsense, cpa, membership, etc)?
- what niche is the site focused on? [btw - you probably don't want to mention on WF]
- how much time / maintenance / money does the site require?

Also - Check out Flippa to get a sense for what some competing sites are going for.

Hey thanks!

- how steady is the income? > very steady and potential to grow even more

- how fast can the income grow? > hit the earning in 2nd month

- where does revenue come from (adsense, cpa, membership, etc)? > CPA, amazon and CB

- what niche is the site focused on? [btw - you probably don't want to mention on WF] - exactly ;) It's on several niches actually..

- how much time / maintenance / money does the site require? > time : 15-20 minutes daily, maintenance + money = domain and hosting only

A rough rule of thumb is about 6* the monthly revenue.

Currently, a lot of sites go for more (about 8-10 times), but don't count on it.

So with 170$, count on about 1K - 1.5k if you can find a buyer.

Skip the "I offer 2 months SEO" shit... people who invest this kind of money don't need your service to grow a site.

If you make a good sales page in a forum, including some nice screenshots, your chances for a good sale are much higher.

That said, I find that a good design (of the page) makes more money.

Are all content unique ? If so why 240 articles makes only $170/month ? I know that it's 3 monthes old, but did you promote it somehow ?

Thanks emp!

seolinker - yes all uniques.

DAddybat - yes i know about flippa, just asking for ideas here.

jmizzle - alright, not selling here though, thanks.

compound - Looks good thanks!

I think for a website that has an income source that is stable you could get considerably more depending on the amount of work needed to maintain the income.

I don't think the sites pages and all that really matters. It's kind of like a website that isn't making money. No one (unless they are dumb) buys off of potential. I don't go off buying old clunker vehicles for $15,000 just because the car would be worth that amount if it were fixed up. I only pay for what it's worth in its current circumstances and for what you have gotten it to at this point.

Interested. Where are you selling it?

As far as price...

Well it is only 3 months old.... So while normally you could extrapolate out to 12 months of income, it would be hard to do here.

Would need to look at the URL before making any real decision.

Having sold several sites recently - the above is on target.
