Every business owner has an "assistant" who briefs them on what's going on. Lawyers have paralegal's who can overview cases in memos to catch them up to speed. There are plenty of tools to solve INDIVIDUAL problems and issues for website owners but to date, I haven't found anything expansive.

What I'm looking for is a quick spreadsheet that provides an OVERVIEW of every website you place in the portfolio. So... your sites are listed in rows and each column are measurements of your sites' "vital signs" - pages indexed, incoming links, PR, possibly onto unique visitors, pageviews, time on site, organic visitors, referral visitors, yada yada yada....

Any significant jumps would auto-highlight the field in bright green and any significant drops in red. Would simply be nice to get a single page snapshot of WTF is going on with your portfolio and from THERE use the tools you have to dissect in more detail.

Does anyone have something like this set up? Perhaps a script that goes through and checks all this for them once a day/hour or whatever? I'd be interested to hear and also interested to have you send it to me for free.. haha. Once again... something I could rig up myself I'm sure, if I knew PHP/MySQL and I just started reading up on it this past weekend but it'll be awhile before I can do something like this.

would love to have one of these myself...i do a mini spreadsheet for my sites in which I document the sites host/ip, keywords targeted, domain info, passwords related to the domain ect ect...but would be really nice to expand and add features such as you suggest, i've heard of guys on syndik8 programming their own custom ones and I think Domain Dashboard may have some of these features but not sure

Make a listing and post it up here on what stats you are looking for...

- Search position for keyword 1-10 (phrases as well)
- # of pages indexed
- PR
- # of incoming links
- incoming links w/URL

maybe:
- unique visitors
- pageviews
- time on site
- organic visitors
- referral visitors
- search keywords

I've made my own with php & mysql. It's an ongoing project and I'm always adding stuff to my command center. I run it on my own box also.

Here's a pic (note: I covered everything I don't want to share with gray boxes)

check out ipb8, domaindashboard or WebCEO. There's a lot more then these but those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head. However if you have 10-100's of thousands of sites those don't work to well. But if you just have a small amount they should be fine.
