Website Uptime Monitoring Tool

Would you please recommend a FREE website uptime monitoring tool? I just checked out Website Monitoring & Web Server Monitoring Service by WebSitePulse. However, I am not ready to pay $10 per month. I appreciate any recommendations. :bowdown:

A new player, so it's still beta, but it's free. So far they have been reliable and have good graphs.

for years I have been using a very simple free service provided by OpenACS called Uptime - basically it polls a file on your site every 15 minutes and emails you if it is not reachable

We use Montastic. They're pretty good and have multiple methods of alerting.
