Weird problem after buying new domain

I bought a domain on namecheap last week and tried to start making the site yesterday but am getting a weird page and I also cannot use /wp-admin to login to the wordpress for the site. I blacked out the url but here it is. Hoping someone knows what's going on..

looks like a placeholder. Did you adjust your nameservers recently or at all?

I bought the domain on Dec 9th and pointed the domain to Hostgator using their nameserver address as soon as I bought it like I always do.
 
did you check to make sure you put the right NS? Definitely looks like a ns problem homie. contact hg
 
Nameservers provably propogating. Clear your cache and refresh after waiting a little while.
 
Use a different browser. The firefox cache is a bitch to clear when dealing with new websites and nameserver propagation.
 
use opendns it updates more freqequently than shitty isp dns, my isp one used to give me a shitload of 404 erros, switched, bingo
 
I was just about to start a thread on here because I have the same issue. Bought a domain from Namecheap two days ago, immediately pointed it to my HostGator DNS. But two days later, the domain's still a placeholder and hasn't transferred to my hosting. I submitted a support ticket on Namecheap's support site yesterday but I'm still waiting to hear back from them. And I just double checked the DNS I entered on Namecheap, no typos there.
 
Wow, I'm an idiot. I figured out the problem with my new domain, maybe this is the same issue that you're having. Although I set the name servers on Namecheap for my new domain, I forgot to create an add-on domain in my HostGator cPanel. Created the add-on domain, problem solved.
