Not sure who uses WEP anymore with WPA being kind of the standard setup now days.

Then again, when we're trying to find someone's house to pick up a craigslist item, and we need the email again for an address because the wife forgot to print it out, I'm usually like "Pull into that neighborhood for a moment.", and at least 1 out of 10 houses will have an open wifi connection that you can hop on real quick. And if it's an upper class neighborhood you can pretty much hop on from down the street as they went and paid the big bucks for the N+ routers , despite not knowing how to set em up.

Then again, you could just go hang out at the local BK or public library lol.

Fucking hell. I think even the poorest and least successful of this lot still pay for their internet. +2 for the fucked up sig. I could not believe my eyes. You really are a piece of shit.

Well actually, I get mine off my neighbor's router across the yard. Except the difference is, they know I do, mainly because I'm the one that gave them my router when our internet got shut off, and they got tired of waiting and got internet themselves, and I got em hooked up. (ie: they leeched off me, now I leech off them).

Thought about doing a Wifi cloud for other neighbors, but I'm a greedy bastard when it comes to bandwidth (though I could setup a machine with routeros or similar, and do bandwidth throttling on that , hehehe, charge 5$ a month for basic web/email access).
