WF Case Study 2008

I must say that this is an impressive turn out for the case study. Seeing how the response came at such a fast pace, its clear that we can, and should, close our doors for applications sooner than previously stated. Those of you who have already replied, take the time to make sure you have all of the requirements completed, that includes your domain name, your hosting account, and your fresh, bare bone installation of WordPress (with a theme). Those of you who are still teetering on the edge and have yet to reply with your request to join, you have until tomorrow (Friday, January 11th) at 11:59pm Eastern, to do so.

This case study will begin on Wednesday of next week (January 16). Everyone who is accepted, will be aware by that time. In the mean time, make sure that you are prepared. Read over the requirements as much as you need to, and make sure that you meet them all. Take the time out to become clear on what niche you're going to choose, and how you're going to arrange things to devote yourself to this. With that said, I'd like to say good luck to everyone, and to all that are new here, welcome to WickedFire.

Finally! Some kick ass help.

I'm in it to win it! I am about to get my own value server so lets do this!

I'd love to be a read-only fly-on-the-wall for this case study.

Actually, I'd love to be in it, and have everything needed, except I do not know if I can commit the amount of time it would require at this point, as I have day-job deadlines on projects. I only have sideline time available at the moment, so I can only do a little now and than...

I wish this could be done on a semi-annual or quarterly basis! :-)

Domain Name-Yes, and willing to invest in more

Hosting - Yes.

WordPress Install - Yes.

Niche - Yes, several, but I'll hop to a new one if you'd like to do a project of semi-related pages

Adsense - Yes.
CJ - Yes
Amazon - Yes.

Commitment - Yes. Devoting money to the project is not a problem and I have ample time to work. Hell, I've been researching niches in this chair for the past 10 hours straight.

I come from more of a programmer's angle than a marketer, so I feel myself gravitating towards automation tools and software packages to supplement my empire building. I've used automation scripting on other non-marketing money making projects in the past with success. Developing, using, integrating, and improving new and existing SEO software packages interests me greatly. I'm no code-wizard, by any means, and php is new to me, but I'm able to do things like scraping YellowBook or Wikipedia without too much fuss. Perhaps I can be of use to the group.

I've also paid my bills as a copywriter, editor, and salesman.

I've read every single post at sites such as Eli's BlueHatSEO and damn near every post on this forum. I've recently begun building my online portfolio mirroring his SEO Empire structure and concepts as closely as I am able, but I'm willing to push that to the side if need be.

While I consider myself well-read on most internet marketing subjects, I don't pretend to have any real clue. I'm yours to mold.
I've not been an active poster here because, well, I don't have any gold nuggets of wisdom to share (yet). There are enough half-truths in this industry without me adding to the pile, right? I'd like to point out, though, that my post to affiliate-spam ratio has broken the very structure of mathematics as we know it: (2/0)

I am a strong believer in all things "Boob" and Boob-related.

If that isn't enough, the number under my name to your left clearly states that I AM THE #1 RATED iTRADER AT WICKEDFIRE!! :D

In all seriousness, I appreciate any consideration you give me. I wish there was a better method to express my desire, commitment, and aptitude for this project.

At the risk of being reamed, I posted my interest in the WF 2008 Case Study a couple times but never saw the posts in the thread. I've got all the prereq's and want to learn from the experts here. I've been a member for a while but haven't posted because I like to mainly listen and learn. Having said that, if I'm given the chance to learn here in the case study, I'll gladly pass along my new knowledge. I'm a big believer in teaching those who want to learn. Thanks for your consideration.

Is there room? :)

Just got back from Kenya... still Jet lagged... but WF is my first stop (after the loo )

Can I join still?

I have a site/blog that needs help, it's been up for about 3 months and gets about 80 to 100 visitors daily but I can't convert shit.

you have until tonight (January 11th) at 11:59 pm (Eastern) to meet the requirements and to post your request to join.

I make my money with PPC but I am still a newb when it comes to this bloggin stuff. Count me in!

All setup with WP, domain, hosting, niche (nice one too) more than willing to spend more money and trying to learn even more. Been jerked around on warrior and digital point forums which left me more confused than when I started. This place has been helpful (special thx to SEO_Mike) and have been reading a lot.

Basically just want a new start and working about 12 hours a day the last few days trying to get things tother. I have a lot of time on my heads and will to commit the resources... please give me a shot. Thanks.

Wow there has been a HUGE response to this. I can't edit my previous post so let me say here - don't choose me :error: I think there are plenty of other people here who are more qualified - I don't even have an adsense account yet lol. But I am doing pretty well with what I am doing so I think others will benefit more from this and I will get some sites up at my own pace, which will probably be ages - but so what - :rasta:

Good luck to the chosen few

lol brooo!! everyone deserves a chance man. I think they'll pick the ones who have talent and deserves to participate. People who are more qualified can also mean that they can do better on their own:D dont back up dawg:rasta:

Thanks and please let me know,

I would love to be eligible for this.

I currently have my own hosting and am able to install a barebones of wordpress with no problems, as well as themes. I have a few domains with my host already but dont have any specific one in mind for this (as well as a niche). - i'm never too good at picking a niche, but wont let it get in the way if i am chosen.

I also already have an adsense account as well as an account with copeac.

My experience with internet marketing has been minimal. I was introduced to it in early 2007, and have since then learned as much as possible with an open mind. My earnings have been sufficient enough to be a very small bit above breaking even (to offset the costs of learning), but have never had that extra "touch" to really take off.

I would love to be apart of this case study to learn the tricks of the trade from people who are succeeding in this industry - to have that extra "edge" most people can only get working with experienced people in the same trade.

with that said, feel free to choose me :D

I'd love to participate. I've been lurking around these forums for a couple of months, and I'd welcome the opportunity to work directly with the experts.

A little about me:
I'm a 21 year-old college student who is currently taking the semester off. I've been toying around with affiliate marketing for about a month now, but I didn't have any real success until I read SEO_Dave's guide on email/zip submits. I'm a member of CJ, Neverblue, Azoogle, and Copeac, although I prefer Neverblue. My Adsense account has a balance of $0.02 from about a week of use.

I already have hosting through a smaller hosting company.

I do webhosting support for a living, and currently work 32 hours per week. That's one of the reasons I want to learn about affiliate marketing: I can't maintain this 32 hour work week and take 16 credit hours at the same time. I'd like to be making enough money online by May to cut back to 20 hours per week.

I am fairly knowledgeable about Wordpress. I have a two month old blog that gets around 100 hits per day. I also have a 2 year old personal blog that only my friends and relatives have access to, and I've setup a handful of autoblogs just to see how they work. I am comfortable with HTML and CSS, not so much with PHP.

I read two blogs for affiliate marketing tips: Uberaffiliate and Zacjohnson.com. I used to read John Chow's blog religiously until I realized that there's nothing useful there.

I wish the Wii had more real games and less minigame-games.

Anyway, that's me.

I'm definitely interested in this. I've been browing this forum for a few months now and have tried a few of the techniques out there, most of them about incentivized cpa offers. The method that will be used in this case study is rather new to me and something I want to delve into. This case study is perfect for me to start.

I have hosting, wordpress experience, some seo experience, an adwords and adsense account and accounts with several affiliate networks (cj, copeac, maxbounty, amazon, ...).

I'm at a full-time job right now and could really miss it. I think several of you can relate to that :)

I've completed the requirements and am hoping to get selected :)

I'd like to be considered for this project. I know I haven't posted that much, but I've been testing the waters with all the info that I read here since my first day as a member. Also, I have the technical background, I just need the right direction in AM.

mckay

I'm just confirming that I have my niche blog already up, have some articles related to my niche and adsense and copeac accounts ready.

So, I'm just hoping to be considered for this case study.

cheers!

Alright. Doors are now closed. I will repeat that all of you who have already applied need to make sure you have all of the requirements complete.

We are no longer accepting requests to join the case study. Good luck to all of those who took advantage of the open window.
