Haven't been on here in a while but the buy/sell section really grew my link selling business back in the day.

Anyone know why it died down?

Is there a 'new' WF?

It died because of the arrogance. People that were once dominating this affiliate marketing game were full of pride and bravado. They shitted on and tormented the new/little guy. But the internet and ways to make money have changed and evolved. Some of the old ways of making money have died off and took the old guys with them. Some little guys became masters of the new ways, so there's no need for them to stick around here and get verbally and mentally abused. Dickroll anyone?

Someone call the whambulence. It had nothing to do with that. It had to do the fact that Jon is a greedy asshat and tried to move to a paid model. Once he delivered absolutely nothing, people started leaving.

Check out buildersociety.com. A lot of the guys moved over to there.

Biggest Problem came when they imposed 15day(Now 10 day closing) restriction for new thread in linkbuilding section. Sellers wants single long thread that can be renewed with monthly subscription, but none of our voice heard.

Current model is not attractive to buyers as it is tough for them to go through older threads to see reviews.

Facebook/Skype/Jabber/Slack/etc.... Private, pre-qualified mastermind groups.. Nobody is interested in sharing information with know-nothing retards who have nothing of value to offer. Gain some skills and learn to leverage your abilities rather than looking for a fucking blueprint.

:(
I'd happily buy and run WF if Jon offered it for $10k.
But he probably won't :P..lol

Builders Society is dying down now too.

There was an ex-pat forum I used to go to but i forgot the name. Anyone know of the ex-pat forum that's got a lot of AMers?

I second that. My business also grew here back then but since Jon decided to lock threads every 10 days and charge money for posting buy/sell threads it died.

I read HackerNews and have a 9-5 programming job now instead of reading WickedFire and working on affiliate campaigns.
