I'm a buyer from the BST. I've actually sold there once too.
I've sold many things on many places for over 10 years now.
I've dealt with angry customers, most of whom had less of a legitimate gripe than your customer seems to have.
And you know what? I've ACQUIRED customers from complaint threads. Yes. Acquired. Not lost.
Why?
Because when people come accusing me of scamming, it is an opportunity to show just how wonderful I am at giving top notch service.
Someone asks:
Is so and so a scam?
And bam!
So and So appears, no anger or defensiveness, just solve the issue, apologize for any inconvenience, and sometimes I leave a special coupon for potential customers looking at it to verify, on a discount, just how awesome my service is. Hell, I've turned not just one angry poster, but full lynch mobs on industry forums in my favor.
It is done by being obliging. Subservient.
If you would have done that, you could use this thread as advertising, and since I'm actually in the process of buying links for a client, I'd buy from you.
But no. You came on here and got all butt hurt and showed absolutely no professionalism. It doesn't matter if the customer spent $1 or $1000. Customers deserve respect. Period. They are fucking feeding you. Putting a roof over your head. Putting clothes on your back.
As a buyer, I'd never want to purchase from a seller like you.
So I will not be buying from you.
Or any of the other sellers standing up for you.
I don't care what it is about. I only care how YOU REACT. And you did a piss poor job at it.
