After much deliberation and procrastinating, we've decided to launch an advertising campaign across the industry on various blogs, resource sites, forums, newsletters and other fun places where people would least expect us to advertise at...
But we don't want to just be another boring ad.
So why not have the members come up with witty ad slogans and/or design banner ads.
If you have any photoshop skills, submit image ads in 728x90, 468x90, 125x125 -- you can use any image or slogan you'd like.
We'll pick the ones that we think represent us the best, but also really capture the essence of WickedFire.. and of course the ones that won't get rejected by the overly sensitive sites we may advertise on. So try to keep it in more of a witty/sarcastic satire rather than profane or downright fucked up.
You're invited to use our logo too, which you have our full permission just so long as it's done in "good taste" and doesn't misrepresent WickedFire in a really sick, stupid or twisted way.. well, not sure we can appear more sick, fucked up and twisted than most of the softies already consider us.. but use your best judgement.
The design inspiration I'd like to go for is the type you'd find on places like Tshirt Hell or from Photoshop Friday contests at SomethingAwful.
Words like "retard/dumb/foolish/stupid,etc.", "homo/gay/geh/queer", "pwned/pwn3d", etc are fine, we just can't swear, which is FUCKED!
Most of all, have fun with it... But try not to let your ADD get the best of you and get sidetracked or stuck on one thing.
I know many of you can't be serious with something like this, so by all means, submit concepts that you know will never get picked but will be entertaining nonetheless. If you do come up with something serious, submit it too.
If you're not much of a designer, no worries, post your slogan/joke/idea and if we use it, we'll handle that shit task of getting it done, or just have you tell the designer what to do.
Flash, jpg and gif are all accepted. As well as plain text.
