It is at least partly because of a quality vs. quantity type of thing. It generally doesn't take too many minutes to view everything new posted in the Enlightened section in any given week. If it did, that would be a sign that it was diluted and the quality level was lower.

The view counts per post in Enlightened are actually relatively high, especially if we factor in that only registered members can view them.
