What apps should I get for my new laptop?

Hey I got a new laptop and I need to fill is with programs.

so far I have...

photoshop
dreamwaver
avast anti virus
nero
alcohol

what else? I need some ideas by tomorrow. I just got my wisdom teeth pulled so I'm still not thinking straight. thanks for the help!

oh yea... taking pain meds when you're really not in pain makes you feeeel really good :)

Total Commander is mandatory on ANY pc in my opinion. Been using it as my sole file manager straight for 15 years and never looked back. Windows Explorer sucks balls. In fact, I think it should replace Explorer as the standard file manager for Windoze. :) Benefits are too many to list here.

Here are some more must-haves for me on any pc I work on:
- VLC Video player (WMP sucks too much)
- WinRAR (beats Winzip)
- JasCapture (for quick screen caps)
- UltraEdit (the best text editor I've used)
- Overzone KeywordTool (free and useful)
- Opera browser (does a few things better than Firefox, e.g. providing quick access to all file-URL's on any webpage for mass-download)
- FlashGet (quick mass-downloader w/scheduling)

uTorrent (sorry can't be arsed to find the greek u-like character)

I prefer Metaproducts Massdownloader to flashget - personal preference

Oh and don't install AO-hell's shitty fuckin software on ya machine if can avoid it... if ya really must use AIM... use Trillian instead
