I would like to give something to the forum by sharing the most successful SEO and traffic building techniques and services that i have been using to get more traffic to my sites and make mo money.

If you would care to add any that work well for you, we can turn this into a great post, and give those newer to SEO a good resource.

So here they are, i have put them in the order of starting off with my most favourite, and moving down the list.

1. Linkvana - I have been a member of linkvana now for about 5 months, and I have to say this is the most fun way to get backlinks that I have found anywhere. What do I mean by fun? Well I mean, I don't have to do hardly any work.

The way in which I can simply open my dashboard, choose my keywords, select my URLs really impresses me.

This is not cheap, but for those already making a bit of money with their online marketing, and who want to increase their web traffic and rankings, this is possibly the best service.

From what I remember, there was a guy doing a discount for the first month of Linkvana, if its still up, maybe you can google it.

2. Bookmarking Demon - almost anyone in the IM game for any amount of time knows the power of social bookmarking for both backlinks and run off traffic. with the new version just being finished off, its a great way to automate the process. I use this tool on a regular basis and can safely say that its money well spent.

3. Article Power! - Another well known and timeless technique is the use of articles. I personally use a service called Unique Article Wizard, as it randomizes the text in my articles, and allows me to get unique content out on the web with multiple backlink anchor text, etc, pointing back to my sites. A very decent service for the investment.

4. Three way links - This is an oldie but a goodie, and although the quality of the links is not really any thing special, you can give your new sites a great kick off with around 250 links getting sent off intermittently as soon as you put your site in the system.

Thats about it really.

I mean there are other methods that I use on occasion, but those 4 really are the staple diet of all my SEO strategy, and now that i have been using them for a while, it has given me a nice systematic approach to my SEO, so i just set up a site, get the above 4 methods rolling for the site, and then move on to the next, all the while building profit.

So please, join in, and let us all know what your best SEO and traffic getting methods are, that is if your in the mood for sharing ;)

Cheers!

The above post is shameless self promotion, but yeah, he is right :). DIGG/stumble/reddit. (i have noticed that a lot of stumble/reddit users own websites.

Digg and the other social bookmarking sites are fine for a one-day traffic jolt, but the traffic isn't sticky. They visit once, don't click the ads and then they're gone. I'm using the backend method of adding my links to improve results in search.

I can add 2 to that list...

Quality Content (who would have thought??)
Think outside of the box, create something people will want to pass around, try to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and mention the kw you want to rank for in the page title so that it's used as the anchor text on the resulting sites that link to it (of course, submit it to any and every social bookmarking site when you're done). I've done this a few times, and the payoff is huge.

Bartering for 1-ways
If you have something site owners want, offer it in exchange for a permanent 1-way link. Just visit the different webmaster forums out there or sitepoint marketplace. I personally offer logo design. :) It's what I did for 2 straight weeks a couple years ago for my site xspore.com which now ranks top 10 for "spore".

social media, bookmarking services, autoping ftw

buying one way pr6 links are dead nowadays.

I use article marketer and link to my HP as well as deep link. I've used Wide Circles in the past, but it's mainly forum spam and it hurts your brand if you have a legit site. i had many people complain to me, so i stopped. But got decent results.

Also, just writing smart title tags and meta descriptions. I've made changes that got some serious boosts in organic results.

i think above links are somewhat useful though it is somewhat self promoting but might help ,, how many of you have used seodiggers new version.
