How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie
When people ask me how it is that I can get along with almost anyone I point them toward this book.

Think and Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill
Holy shit so much good info in this one. Unlike other books of this ilk, every chapter held my interest.

And since I can tell you're a ladies man like me...

The Game- Neil Strauss
Neil is a great writer and reading the story of the time he spent with Pick up artist Mystery is a lot of fun. This isn't a how-to book, but you might learn a few things worth keeping.

History of My Life - Giacomo Casanova
Casanova's life in his own words. It's a huge book and not all of it is about boning chicks...but most of it is. I'm enjoying it, even though he was a major pedophile (which was ok back then it seems).

Just finished The Bottomless Well: The Twilight of Fuel, The Virtue of Waste, and Why We Will Never Run Out of Energy by Hubert & Mills. It is fantastic. Setting aside the seizures it causes in greens, which is a big selling point for me, the book actually has some really, really, really interesting information about the generation and distribution of energy in modern society, a subject with which I have always been fascinated but never really studied.

Frank

-1 on Freakonomics. Quite funny reading Freakonomic's trashy reasoning for the NYC crime wave coming to an end, then reading the Tipping Point's version. Gladwell wrote about it on his blog.

Overall, Freakonomics is a massive ego massage for the author and his side kick, with every chapter interspersed with some quotes shining sunlight up his arse.

+1 for Tipping Point though.

DruSam Check out: The Nordstrom Way: The Insider Story of America's #1 Customer Service Company by Robert Spector & Patrick D. McCarthy

It is a really interesting read. It shows you how Nordstrom's set the bar for customer excellence. A lot of the stuff you can carry over into the way you run your own ventures.
