Not strictly CPA but I remember Amazon had a deal one time for a bunch of board games really raelly cheap (like a few pennies each) It was probably a messup on amazon's part. But I posted the deal at a popular hot deals forum a couple years ago and made several thousand in referal fees for the full price just from that one post. SO I'd say that's my favorite offer...
Right now the iphone zip submit seems to be my most popular one.
You always want to go with the freshest offers with no scrubs.
Thats why we always dump the old offers in our network and try to keep them coming in fresh.
A BRAND NEW email submit will often garner conversions upwards of 50%. Old stale ones often fall down to 5%. 50% of the ppl still put the info in, but the advertisers scrub the repeats, even across networks and campaigns. Scrubs kill.
Friends don't let friends run scrubs...
But it is a reality of those offers.
There are very few of these on the market right now.
A lot of times consumers will put in their email address on the same offer twice, unknowingly. Either the landing pages are different or something to that effect, and they do not realize it.
These truely are the best converting offers in the industry right now. The only problem is that there are so few, so the variety and real nichie ones do not exist.
Scrubs can definitely kill the offers conversions. New offers don't necessarily mean the DB is fresh. You should talk to your network that you work with to see if the database has been refreshed recently. We typically push our advertisers to refresh databases once a month, most of the higher volume networks are able to get the big advertisers to do this while smaller networks may have a more difficult time.
We have hundreds of exclusive email/zips that have fresh DB's and on average we clean those out every two weeks. The fresh DB is on the actual offer not just the brand which makes a HUGE difference.
Scrubbing is absolutely not tolerated on any of our campaigns. It's just not fair to anyone.....
