Yep. In the last 6 months ive been in Thailand, Dubai, Germany, Czech, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Italy, Greece and off to France next.. Will go home at christmas for a few months and then head off again.

I use Craigslist to find apartments & vacation rentals for about the same as rent back home, living cost for me is about the same as it would be in Sydney.

Grab a local sim card & some wireless net in the country you are in for a month or so and toss it when you leave, most countries have prepaid wireless if your apartment doesnt already have wifi.

Make monies on the road, see the world.

I believe him. You would be surprised at how noobish questions can be by someone that's baller. a lot of ppl that you think don't know shit, really do, and vice versa.

Its funny because I know a friend whos parents are fuckin baller, and is giving him a 350z, and our friends dont act much different other than say hes lucky and shit. But I know for a fact if I were to buy a nice car and claim I busted ass for it, own a business, etc, they will be like "HEY GIVE ME MONEY BALLER" "WANNA BUY ME SOMETHING"... and completely change their attitude and get mad jealous.. its so fucking annoying

I've got a wife and two kids. My social life is jumping up and down on my bed before sunrise every morning. Now that they're out of diapers, we're going to start living a vagabond life similar to what Globefrog described.

No reason not to.

Not necessarily. Moving around, you learn how to make friends easily, you get exposed to different people and cultures etc. I'm not saying it is better, but it is different, and I think in a smaller world, with more globalization, it is healthy for kids to see more rather than less.
 
I don't really have a problem with money and my friends. They make a little fun of me for "pointing and clicking all day" and shit like that, but they've got their own lives and everything.

What I do have a problem with, is TIME and friends. It sucks when people expect you to adhere to their schedule just because they know that you make your own. Then when you decline an invitation to do something or whatever because you have shit you want to get done, they get offended because they know you could technically make time if you really wanted to.

Combine that with having a few different circles of friends and it sucks.
 
What is your point of making money? It is an important question to answer for yourself.

I want a richer life. That means people that walk the same path. Some
people drop off. It is what it is.

In short, I had to get some courage and stop talking about it

Kids are a lot more resilient than they might seem. They travel well. They make fast friends. They love seeing new things. Mine seem to have a particularly strong wanderlust. And we vacation extensively as it is. Going fully location independent is a short step from where we are already.
