What does TrafficVance and George Clooney have in common?

I was just about to go in on TrafficVance.... still worth it? I haven't done CPV in like 3 years. Did make some money with PlayPickle though.

Traffic Vance sucks now. They lock you out of your account if you go more than 30 days without running traffic. Not to mention they went to a system where they can create an artificial bid ceiling and screw over affiliates.

So fuck them and fuck Jared too.

Agreed. The new bidding system and shit just killed everything.

Anyone looking to do PPV, check out Media Traffic. They have solid inventory and reasonable pricing.

fuck Jared too.

Haters gonna hate:

Man... he's following her through the Golddigger Guidebook step for step! Date, Marry, Get Pregnant, Get FUCKED.

I hope he Pre-nup'd.

(Actually, that's just me being jelly. What a Bowse!)

Just to provide an update here, FutureAds was sold/merged with Kitara Media for:

A lump-sum of $80 million cash + stock in the new formed entity + up to $40 million in possible earn outs.

Interesting time to be selling the company that does $90M revenue and $30M EBITDA for $80M...neither parties appear unsophisticated as both are highly experienced in the adware arena.

Doesn't the price seem a bit rich though? It'd take 4 years at the current run-rate (assuming $20M net income) to break even assuming a $80M total cost. All it takes is Microsoft or major anti-virus companies to push an update that wipes out a majority of the user base.

In any event...I'm betting Jared is laughing all the way to the bank.

You are right. Customer acquisition cost in adware install is steadily going up as new OS and browsers are making installation of adwares/extensions more and more difficult. Also, there is downward pressure on the CPM/CPC costs due to increased competition. The minimum cpc bid for textlink on trafficvance used to be $0.15 not too long ago. Now it has been reduced $0.05. Same with other providers in the space.

I think Kitara did not get a very good deal.
