What easy software do you use to create banners?

Hi,

Is there a software that you use to create graphic banners, one that's not as complex as Photoshop to use?

But can do the job pretty well.

there are plenty of sites with photoshop tutorials. learn the program now as you'll need it in the long run. if you aren't willing to learn such a fundamental system you might want to reconsider getting into this business.

I use paint shop pro. I think it's fine if you're not really a designer(and may be fine even if you are). But if you want to get good at graphics then just start learning photoshop, since it's the standard.

Gimp is a great alternative to Photoshop if you want something that's free and for the most part does everything Photoshop does.

^^ I've never really got on with Gimp after being used to PS.

You only need to know what a few buttons do though to make basic stuff in PS.

I've used GIMP, PS, and a few other alternative solutions. I'm going to hop on the bandwagon and recommend you learn to use photoshop. best of luck

I was just being an asshole, but thinking about it, it probably would make banner blindness its bitch for awhile until everyone copied it.

I've always used fireworks or flash for my personal stuff.

Gimp is ok but you need to spend some time with it on tutorials getting the basics down.
